Mission Statement

   

To provide a uniform emergency number (911) to the citizens and visitors of Monroe County for quick and efficient emergency assistance. Our main purpose is to save lives, protect property, and help make Monroe County a safe place to live and visit.












Message From The Director

I am honored to be the first 911 director for Monroe County, and take great pride in our public safety emergency communications organization. A lot of hard work was involved in making our center one of the best in the State of Tennessee. I have surrounded myself with dedicated employees and have a supportive Board of Directors. In emergency communications, the technology is a never ending challenge. My goal is to provide the most updated equipment at the fingertips of our 911 staff to quickly and efficiently serve the People of Monroe County and its Municipalities; Madisonville, Sweetwater, Tellico Plains, and Vonore.
